What it’s all about

The Great Skipton Santa Fun Run is a charity run and walk organised by Skipton Rotary and supported by Skipton Town Council

The 17th Great Skipton Santa Fun Run will take place on Sunday 29th November, and is a precursor to the Christmas Lights switch on later on in the day

Run, walk or wheelchair for charity

A 5km course around Skipton, through Aireville Park and Skipton Woods, starting and finishing on Skipton High Street

A 3km wheelchair and walker friendly route through Aireville Park, starting and finishing on Skipton High Street

Individuals aged 6yrs and over and of any ability can take part

Entry fees: Adults: £22 (£25 on the day). Children up to the age of 16: £10

Includes a Santa T-shirt, hat and commemorative medal

In addition to many of the runners’ own charities, the main beneficiaries are Sue Ryder Manorlands, Marie Curie Bradford, local Skipton charities and other Rotary charities

Local businesses are encouraged to enter a team or are invited to sponsor the event

Families and members of community groups are encouraged to enter teams to run as a group and raise sponsorship money

Many local Charities, organisations and schools use the event to raise money for their own charities and support the event through sponsorship

The first 10 charities, schools, organisations or amateur clubs that enter a team of 25 or more, will receive a £250 incentive for their organisation. All you have to do is make sure that all entries have the same team name and once entered, email the names through to us at josh.call1967@gmail.com
